2017年翻譯資格考試口譯中級強化模擬練習（3） 據中國人民銀行授權中國外匯交易中心公布，5月8日銀行間外匯市場(chǎng)人民幣匯率中間價(jià)為1美元對人民幣6.1980元，再創(chuàng )歷史新高。
《中國日報》的報道： The People's Bank of China on Wednesday set the daily reference rate of the yuan against the dollar at 6.1980， the highest since China unified the official and market exchange rates at the end of 1993. 中國人民銀行周三(5月8日)將人民幣對美元的每日參考匯率定為1美元對人民幣6.1980元，創(chuàng )下自1993年底官方匯率與市場(chǎng)交易匯率并軌以來(lái)的最高紀錄。 Reference rate就是“參考匯率”，中國人民銀行(People's Bank of China，也稱(chēng)為central bank)對外公布的當日人民幣與其他貨幣交易的benchmark(基準價(jià))就叫匯率中間價(jià)(central parity rate)，參考匯率(reference rate)指的就是央行公布的這個(gè)比價(jià)。 在相關(guān)報道中，peg這個(gè)詞也需要大家注意。Peg在外匯詞匯中指“盯住”，即“將本國貨幣按一個(gè)固定比率同一種外幣或金價(jià)掛鉤”，“中國取消人民幣與美元掛鉤”，可以用以下幾種方式來(lái)表達： Chinese currency was no longer be pegged to the US dollar. China scraped/ditched yuan peg to US dollar. China abandoned the currency's decade-old peg against the US dollar. 2005年7月21日起，中國開(kāi)始實(shí)行“人民幣不再單一盯美元，而改為與一攬子貨幣掛鉤的匯率機制”(the move to peg the renminbi against a basket of currencies rather than just the US dollar)。 |
